		<description>It might be that I have too many recursive database lookups... but I shouldn&#039;t be blamed - Django makes it just too easy to select and display ancestor item in a navigation path :P

I suppose I will be forced to write better code when performance matters :D</description>

		<description>@huy: that&#039;s strange - I&#039;ve been running Django pre1.0 on a shared hosting environment for a while now and have not had any issues - you must have some very bad code there mate :P</description>

		<description>Yippeee, I&#039;ve been using Django for a little while now and am very glad that it&#039;s made 1.0. Finally I can start real development instead of just test projects.

One thing that I&#039;ve noticed is that Django is very resource intensive... on every request, CPU usage was in the 70 percents, my old server was struggling to keep up.

Here&#039;s me hoping that 1.0 will be faster, better and stronger!</description>
